OT... I am weary, let me rest...

I was listening to my HomePod as I ate lunch and this lovely version of the Cox Family's "I Am Weary" came on. I love the song and it kind of reminds me of the state of things right now, so I decided to record it. Bonus-- I also played rhythm with my acoustic guitar, along with the recorded music! I didn't play super well, but I did play! I also did the harmonies.

I tried to make a live video to go with this. I even put on makeup. After four takes, I just couldn't make a video of myself that didn't look ridiculous, so I used photos of the Rhein River and my dogs... resting. Hope some of you enjoy it. My husband got excited by it. :D

For those who don't know, the Cox version was on the "O Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack. An excellent introduction to bluegrass.
