Something tells me Mormons are not going to mention her when they brag about famous Mormons.

Was the shooter raised in the mormon church? The current mayor of Highland Park said she was his cub scout den mother when he was a little kid. Unless she is/was also a mormon, it seems to me that he was in a non-LDS troop.

The family was/is highly dysfunctional, with lots of arguments between the parents,even in front of customers at the father's deli and police were called to the home on domestic violence calls. When the parents separated, the shooter spent time going from his mother's to his father's residence.

Not that I know jack about her, but my best guess is that she was not active at all. I don't see a lot of commonality between church stuff and the things she was into.

From the photos I've seen, she doesn't seem mormony: no sacred jimjams, quite a bit of cleavage...

I was going to ask about yoga and self-meditation. Those are 2 interests that are best not mentioned at church. Not that there's anything wrong, but I would guess that many members are dubious of those types of self-realization.

My Mom was very much into holistic and alternative treatments, no she wasn't peddling products to members, but she learned to keep her mouth shut about using herbal TEAS.

I'm going with others that this lady was not active in the church.
