It's a look of confusion becuase none of them have a soul. They lost their souls by costantly lying for Lord so much and not doing the right thing. They don't even know what is right anymore. The older the worse.
I think LDS Corp has a culture of lying. The lie so often that it takes others to bring it to their attention. Which leads them to extreme annoyance- they all have their 2nd Annointings to absolve them of making errors and acting evilly.
The entire organization is built upon lies- Lying to get thru interviews, lying to get a temple recommend, lying about tithing. They lie about missionary work- lessons taught, people contacted.
Bishops lie about numbers of attendance, people reactivated, people who have resigned.
Nobody wants to hear the truth that the church is broken and has been all the way back to the founding con and his tall tales.
For a while I hoped Dieter Uchtdorf might change course of ChurchCo, we all know how that went…
Sure, they talk the talk, occasionally about Christ-like living but that’s about all; ChurchCo ALWAYS COMES FIRST AHEAD OF MEMBERS, even when Hate, Lies, & Greed show up.

Well, think about it -- how many corporate leaders give you a warm, fuzzy feeling? They have a business to run, and right now, a lot of their metrics are not looking good.
The General Conference talks are all written in advance so they can be translated into different languages. The speaker reads from a teleprompter. Not everyone reads a prompter well and you can have someone who can give a great talk without a prompter and when they use one, their tone of voice changes, they become more dull and the talk isn't as good.
I've seen several GA's give great talks at stake conferences but they come off horrible in General Conference.
