Since Thanksgiving I have heard or read the phrase "the thirty days of Christmas" several times. Soon to be sixty days including halloween. If there is a war, Christmas is winning.
And we will need a new anthem as The Twelve Days of Christmas will now need to start with "Thirty Election deniers, Twenty nine climate deniers, Twenty-seven men with Top Knots, Twenty-six inflencers a'influeniding . . . . . . . . . . and a partidge-less pear tree!"
I noticed it started here on November 12. The very next day after November 11, obviously, but I mean they didn't even take a breath. One day we're remembering the fallen, the next it's hey the sales are starting because xmas is coming.
Just a little bit too quick for me. And it makes Christmas too long. If that's a thing.
Yes, it started about mid-November. I remember taking a walk in my neighborhood and seeing a Christmas tree up. Christmas music started early, too. In the U.S, I wish we could go back to celebrating Thanksgiving first.
