Interesting way to justify the massive number of young single adults leaving the church as a good thing.

This guy could explain why the sinking of the Titanic was a positive learning experience and the people who survived it grew spiritually from the whole experience.

It will be interesting to hear what this guy cooks up when the people who have left don’t come back.

In the mainline churches, it's not unusual for younger people to take some time off from church. They return when they have their families. But I don't think this is what is happening in Mormonism, due to the controlling nature of the church. I think that when Mormons walk away, they tend to stay away.
