A lot of the Bible thumper types probably are going to do the home school thing anyway.

Maybe they are afraid kids will actually read the Bible without Sunday School story filters (and learn the truth about the Bible).

I find it interesting the Bible was in the library. My niece attended Catholic school and needed her own copy. I don’t think it was in any library in our public school system. Of course I was attending school in the dark ages.

I suggest, "The Marxist-Leninist People's Popular Paraphrase," with all jender and gudgement verses deleted. We don't want to offend anybody, you know.
