People keep mentioning Freemasonry like it is still a significant force in US society. I don’t think that these days it even rises to the level of “Elks Club with pretensions”.

The last time I heard Freemasonry mentioned was on a Brit cop show. It could have been Rebus but I forget exactly.

It's always seemed spooky to me.


Oh - I just remembered - it was Morse. Gotta keep my Brit guys separate!
