The saddest part is that absolutely everything she said would be right at home in any Mormon ward. Take away the killing thing and she would be welcomed with open arms.

I beg to differ. I’ve heard any number of Mormons go on at length about how the veil is thin and they have communicated with those that have passed on, and they have received personal revelation and have used that to justify all manner of unethical or illegal behavior.
She sounded Mormon to the core. She believed absurdities and committed atrocities. She was exceptional only in being a woman and the number of murders she was involved in, and the sheer brazenness. She apparently actually believed she was going to get away with this.
So did the Laffertys, the LeBaeons, the various polygamists with child brides, yada yada. They are all the fruits of the poisoned tree that is Mormonism.
That's what happens when you tell people they can receive inspiration from God just like Nephi and other inspired murderers. Some small minority will inevitably follow suit.
