My favorite line:  "We’re in Salt Lake City, and we tattled on the church and lost a lot of friends.  The silver lining is our friends are better friends.”

The line, 'Good riddance to bad rubbish!' leaped forward.

That was a great quote. Quality over quantity for sure.

Great article. Thank you!

I'm encouraged that the church isn't able to stop the media from reporting unfavorable things about it like they have so often in the past.

People need to know what is going on financially behind the white shirts, temples and happy family church façade.

Huntsman wouldn't be able to do this if he weren't worth scores of millions.

What if all of us filed Small Claims actions...?

I'd do it--as long as you paid the filing fees.

“Slowly, people aren’t giving the church the benefit of the doubt"

was the key quote, I thought.

Mormon royalty. Give me a break. No Huntsman’s in high leadership positions. Most TBM’s don’t even care.

Even I know about the Huntsman family, and I'm a nevermo from the east coast. It's still a known name in Utah, IMO.

You make the erroneous assumption that all "Mormon royalty" have leadership positions, which is false. Anyone who gives sufficient sums of money get great respect and no small volume of special privileges.

Of course the Huntsmans were, and are, "Mormon royalty."
