No one posting here has made such a declaration in the time I've been posting here.
There was a small splash of publicity some years ago regarding your topic; I remember it well because of its outcome.
A young lady claiming no knowledge of mormonism went with friends to see the Broadway presentation and then somehow joined the church. There was a nice little splurge of publicity regarding this mini-miracle, and her photo graced many a pro-mormon publication.
She did one of those little "...and I'm a mormon!" videos, which was included in a big collection on mormon.com (the only true name of Jesus's website!). And it was still on the church's website for at least a year after it was learned and confirmed that she'd quit the church... The church website never updated her profile to mention that fact.
Yup. I looked up young in question a few yeras ago, and on a discussion borad someone had asked her some Mo' relevant question, to which she replied (paraphrasing here 'cause I'm old): "I cannot answer your question, as I no longer associate with that organization."

What about the Passion of the Christ?
My mom and her other church friend defied church leaders and watched it. They raved about it despite being told not to see it.
Yes, that one too. Jesus Christ Superstar was too "irreverent" a depiction. And Passion of the Christ, being both rated R and focusing so heavily on the torture and death of Christ was considered against the church's guidelines. I eventually saw it on my own.
