Too bad. Relatively young. I mean - not totally ancient.

Pneumonia has a lot to answer for. Seems like antibiotics should conquer it but not always, most unfortunately.

Sad news.

The actor who originally played Dumbledore also passed away, but after the second HP movie, when Gambon took the role.

The actors who play Hagrid and Snape have also passed away, along with many others:

My late wife was a big Harry Potter fan. One of the things my daughters and I have done many times since she passed is to binge watch the whole series. Something comforting about it.
