And this is 100% opposite from what women have been told for the last 200 years. They have been told in no uncertain terms that sealing means forever. No matter what. Or am I mistaken?

Sealings were an excuse for Joseph Smith and other church leaders to justify their affairs. The temple became a place of where you swore oaths of secrecy. It was an insider’s club of adulterers using spiritual sealings to justify sex outside of their civil marriages.

There are no sealings in the Bible. The temple was a place to store the ark of the covenant and a place where sacrifices were offered.

Heaven is described as a paradise. Of course Mormons have created a detailed description of heaven and you better do what the leaders say and you better pay or you will lose your spouse and family in the next life.
