Any arborist or tree knowledgeable folks here?

I'm trying to ID a somewhat rare tree here, Sequim, WA...

I have a few pictures to help

I think there are websites that identify plants from pics out there.

I'm not very knowledgeable about plants, but I believe trees are the taller ones.

Yes, there are apps that can identify plants and trees from a photo. If you don't want to spend the money on an app, send photos to your state's extension service, and they will let you know.

(serious question?) based on online photos, I guess not but I'm curious as to the areas where yew trees thrive

Try asking someone at the WA DNR in Forks, or someone at the Forest Serice either at the DNR office in Forks or in Quilcene.
