Well, photos in Unsplash are not copyrighted, anyone can use them; that's why I used it. The photo isn't taken by me, by the way. I thought about learning photography and contributing to Unsplash (my younger son is good at it), but it seems not worth it.

TSCC is a magnet for crazy people. You have to be a little disconnected from reality just to buy into Mormon doctrine. So just because a member believes something happened doesn't mean it happened. It could be a delusion. That puts the church in a tough spot. How do they protect both the normies and the crazies?

What about the falsely accused? Don't they have rights? Being falsely accused of heinous crimes after so much dedication to walking the straight and narrow is traumatic.

Past false accusations by nutters could have set the burden of proof too high for Lorraine. Notice she took the settlement. In this case, the squeaky wheel got the money.

Well, that is what the police are for -- to sort out people's stories. Personally, in most cases I tend to believe the abused. I find them very credible.

Livid is referring to tsunamis. In tsunamis, the big wave sucks all the water out of the region and everybody thinks life is fine. Then the big deluge comes and kills.
