In the FLDS episode a young woman stated that if anyone left the faith their blood would change and the person would no longer be considered family.

I've been out nearly 25 years from LDS,Inc. Did they teach a similar doctrine but say the blood of the faithful would be changed/purified at some point but I don't remember the particulars.

Yes.

Joseph F. Smith and Bruce McConkie both said that if someone is not of the tribes of Israel, upon baptism their blood changes to become that of Ephraim if you are a good person and Manasseh if you are bad.

(The first half of that is true.)

Yeah, after that post I spent fifteen minutes looking for evidence and could not find it. Obviously the church has successfully buried it.

That said, here is a thread on one of pro-Mormon boards that proves people were taught the doctrine. The thread lists sources from the History of the Church, vol. 3; a couple of different articles on LDS.org; etc., but every single one of those links now lead to pages that the church deleted. So yes, the church has buried most of the evidence.

What is still up are a number of active members' memories of the doctrine and the following post, documenting that the doctrine was still being taught ten years ago.

This is currently taught in the chapter 21 of the Religion 430-431 - Doctrines of the Gospel Student Manual. The bottom of page 57 says the following:

"This first Comforter or Holy Ghost has no other effect than pure intelligence. It is more powerful in expanding the mind, enlightening the understanding, and storing the intellect with present knowledge, of a man who is of the literal seed of Abraham, than one that is a Gentile, though it may not have half as much visible effect upon the body; for as the Holy Ghost falls upon one of the literal seed of Abraham, it is calm and serene; and his whole soul and body are only exercised by the pure spirit of intelligence; while the effect of the Holy Ghost upon a Gentile, is to purge out the old blood, and make him actually of the seed of Abraham. That man that has none of the blood of Abraham (naturally) must have a new creation by the Holy Ghost. In such a case, there may be more of a powerful effect upon the body, and visible to the eye, than upon an Israelite, while the Israelite at first might be far before the Gentile in pure intelligence” (Smith, Teachings,149–50)."

So there you have both a direct Joseph Fielding Smith source and an official lesson manual.

" Again, if a pure Gentile firmly believes the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and yields obedience to it, in such a case I will give you the words of the Prophet Joseph—"When the Lord pours out the Holy Ghost upon that individual he will have spasms, and you would think that he was going into fits."

Joseph said that the Gentile blood was actually cleansed out of their veins, and the blood of Jacob made to circulate in them; and the revolution and change in the system were so great that it caused the beholder to think they were going into fits.

If any of the Gentiles will believe, we will lay our hands upon them that they may receive the Holy Ghost, and the Lord will make them of the house of Israel. They will be broken off from the wild olive tree, and be grafted into the good and tame olive tree, and will partake of its sap and fatness. If you take a bud and inoculate it into another tree it ceases to receive nourishment from its original stock; it must, however, receive nourishment, or it will die. Where must it receive its nourishment from? From the tree into which it has been introduced; it is supported by it, and becomes incorporated with it."

Any tribe with EOD in it is the naughty one.

Yes, they did, but they "don't teach that anymore."
