I am with a never-mo from Pittsburgh, so I didn't really have any favorites in the playoffs. I was kinda rooting for the DL only because they have never made it to the super bowl. I guess the game showed why that is the case.

I've enjoyed watching the Lions in their last few games. I think they played really well, and gave SF a run for their money.

Lions played a hell of a good game. A lot of 49er staff and players have gone to the Lions over the years. I am sure that was a factor.

I don't usually watch the NFL but kinda got caught up in the Lions turnaround under coach Campbell and their March to the game on Sunday. I'll probably give the Superbowl a pass, though.

I can probably watch three Premier League games over the endless hours of hype for this game, never mind the ten to fifteen minutes of actual ball movement it will offer. To each their own.

I get that. I prefer to watch soccer games for the same reason. But I'll tune into the NFL if my team, or another team that interests me, approaches or makes the playoffs.

I wonder what the 153rd playing of the FA Cup this year (the world's oldest knockout tournament) would be in Roman numerals. I guess they are used for the SB to suggest the gladiatorial nature of the game.

I was listening to an interview with a NFL head coach, and it was obvious that you could name any Super Bowl within the last thirty years or more, and he could not only tell you who played who and who won, but some significant plays within the game. And I was thinking that this man had found the right job for himself.
