Thomas Paine's age of reason has passed. Why not abandon reason for madness? It made the church a ton of money.

Dreams and goals are also often in error and can create pain, frustration, rebellion, and websites!  I think some combination of these also caused the Oxford comma...

Thinking leads to more thinking, and then what?

We live in an age where fabrication is regarded as fact and lies are accepted as truth.

You must have been reading 1984. I hope you didn't subscribe to the views of Brother O'Brien.

She was anti-mormon in high school and her early 20s. She knows a lot of negative things about the church like the temple. She had to talk to her dad after she went through the first time as she had some issues with some of it. She knows I'll be too anti and he kind of doesn't get into anything very deep. I often think he still believes many things, but being gay, it doesn't work for him.

My daughter asked her dad for a blessing once after she and I had a big argument over the church. She used to confront me while I was sitting here working--and try to convince me to go back. I finally told her to stay away.

But she was pretty creeped out by some of the stuff that happened in the temple and yet she knew everything as I told her years before. She couldn't talk to an active mormon, but she talked to her dad. I'm not safe.

Anyway, she went to her dad to get a blessing of all things because mom won't listen to "reason" about going back to church. AND HE is gay and resigned and he gave her a blessing. He just feeds into her delusions. But he did tell her, "Your mother was never happy as a mormon." I didn't even know that until he said it and he is right.

My daughter is very intelligent and I know SHE KNOWS.

Willful ignorance drove me apart from my birth family.
