Power Points Being Used in the Temple?

I've heard that the church is now using Power Point presentations in the Temple. Is this true? Can any current TR holders report on this?

It's Microsoft that wants to throw in with the Mormons. They want to be able to sell software upgrades for the dead.

Powerpoint slides can be easily changed, translated, added and deleted. The church is probably kicking itself for not using them sooner vs. making films.

I've been told that an endowment session can run a fast 45 minutes now. It used to be an easy 2+ hour session.

It was even slower if I was there trying to tie those damn hat strings and trying to switch the robe and not wear it inside out.

Most members I know hate the endowment. I never heard anyone complain they cut more of it out. People like sealings and maybe baptisms but the initiatory and endowment were always hated and the temple workers hate them too.

The funny thing is these eternal ordinances constantly change. I guess they aren’t so eternal.

I think the movies are finished. The director of the last temple film got in trouble for sex abuse. Movies are expensive and people soon grow tired of them. The sacred movie becomes unusable when actors or directors get caught doing stuff good temple goers shouldn’t do.

Still shots are cheap and you can constantly change them.
