Also known as "4x4 Day," when Jeepsters, Bronco owners, Roving Land Rovers, lifted "Tacos" and other off-road enthusiasts put their brand loyalty differences aside and prepare for a summer of wheeling the trails and back roads.

Tell a TBM that you had a dream last night that you were going to be the next Bishop, but say it quietly and humbly.

Regardless of the day, they will fall for it.

April 6 is Jesus's birthday...  I figured this thread was close enough for me to get away with the following:

Good Friday has fallen on April 6 in previous years, including 2007 and 2012...

So, in 2007 and 2012, Jesus got to celebrate both his B-day and crucifixion at the same party!

How does one dress for such an occasion, and does Jesus get one or two presents?

I just had a "news" item pop up on my phone that was from April 1st. It went on and on about the Mormon Church buying Westminster Abbey. It looked pseudo serious and finally someone commented about the date. I laughed because it was such a slap down on TSCC!

A radio station, using footage from the recent Mt. St.Helens eruptions, reported that "Great Blue Hill" (635ft), 8 miles south of Boston, had blown its top in volcanic fury. Swarms of people fled their homes. A woman with a stable of horses released her steeds to give them a chance to escape. They were running on and around a nearby highway (Rte. 128); happily, they were later rounded up without mishap.

Some flunky was deemed responsible for the mess, made the fall guy, and fired. He never worked in broadcasting again. And that's no joke.

It's #2 in this list of "13 April Fool Jokes That Went Bad."
