And as the hospital-based ICU and ER nurses have pointed out, surviving Covid was not always a good thing. Their patients lost limbs or were permanently moved to Long Term Care facilities. One of my colleagues developed Long Covid and has been out of work since the fall.

Does your grocery store give you a senior citizen's discount or something?

I just had to reknew (lol) my driver's license. The wait was kind of long, but I got a great clerk. I did ask if he could give me a senior citizen discount. (Um...no...)

PS: I still keep my CDL active. The way things are going, it might come in handy!

No discount on groceries and our shots are covered under our insurance. We do LOVE the curbside pickup and I save a lot of money shopping on line.
