You may be aware of this one: I read in the Washington Post that

"Robert Morris, founder of Gateway Church, is accused of inappropriately touching a girl over several years in the 1980s, starting when she was 12 years old."

That was a big story here, due to his political involvement. Nuff said.

Rest assured that the “sin was dealt with correctly by confession and repentance.” Eye roll!

As they say, No crime in sin.

I read somewhere that the victim was just a few years short of her 18th birthday, which sounds so much better than 12.

"Clemishire added that she had repeatedly disclosed the abuse to church leaders and pastors, including at Gateway, but it was not until she spoke publicly that action was taken."

She was 12 years old when the abuse started. He should have been prosecuted. He should still be prosecuted. How can these people call themselves Christians? Why do they bother? To gain salvation? To show off to everyone else in their communities what wonderful human beings they are? They are disgusting, all of them -- nasty, filthy, trashy scumbags.
