Steven E. Snow, no doubt a relative of Lorenzo and Eliza.

Emeritus 70 now speaking his mind. Obviously has connections and will be pushing for this. He knows that the church really relies on living leaders not fixed writings: "I'm a Mormon one week!", and "Mormon is a victory for Satan" the next. They can and do worship authority and power inside and outside the church. They'll do this because external powers tell them to.

"The grandfather to two granddaughters and a granddaughter-in-law who identify as LGBTQ+, Elder Snow says he has always been hopeful that “the church would be more receptive to those who experience same gender attraction and provide opportunities for full engagement so they can one day make all the covenants in the temple.”

"Elder Snow... says, “My hope and prayer for the future is we can be more inclusive and find a way to somehow maneuver through this difficult issue and yet keep people together and love them and make them feel they can take part in all the blessings the gospel of Jesus Christ offers everyone.”"

All it is going to take is an elder snow to navigate his way to the Q12 and then live long enough to become RMN 2.0, and there will 1,000% guaranteed be gay sealings, and same sex relationships will be elevated to equal-if-not-superior status with heterosexual unions. They may even be given special status and get told they were never banned to begin with.

"Ever mindful of establishing safe spaces for LGBTQ+ loved ones in the church, Elder Snow surmises, “We’ve done this before... we can do it again... soon... we can find a way for it to happen.”"

Turns out he is related to Erastus Snow and the founders of Snowflake, Arizona etc. Close enough. A wealthy lawyer from the right bloodline masquerading as some egalitarian. Typical General Authority nepotism. I always had a soft spot for J. Golden Kimball, but even he admitted he only got his position through nepotism.

This video suggests the church is being primed for gay marriage on the same trajectory the black priesthood thing went.

2025 is too optimistic by her but I think it will happen within the next decade or so.

"This isn't my childhood or college church. The Washington DC Temple's Instagram liking and commenting on this [gay] couple's post defy stereotypes. Could this signal significant doctrinal change?

"There are parallels when the church barring black members, a policy changing in 1978. Could gay marriage follow a similar timeline?

"As voices within the church support LGBTQ+ rights, the principle of continuing revelation, vital in LDS faith, hints at adaptability. Are figures like Mr. Charlie Bird pioneers, akin to Joseph Freeman in 1978, marking a new era? Or perhaps, as some of his commenters suggest, he's a sell out looking for a taste of internet fame.

"Some see this as strategic, retaining members amid societal shifts. Others view it as genuine evolution. Join the discussion – do you think the Mormon Church embraces gay marriage in 2025, a decade post-legalization? Share your thoughts! "

Gayness may not be a choice, but the result of endocrine disruptors and pesticides.

If so, society (to include Utahns) did not sufficiently regulate chemicals. So, it's unfair to penalize the innocent victims of government policies.

You may need to read that again, Bradley, because you clearly didn’t understand it.
