From the Reconciling Ministries Network: “ A disappointing number of nonprofits, including RAINN, the Boy Scouts of America, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, have preemptively taken mentions of gender identity and LGBTQ+ issues off of their websites. Others are renaming their diversity officers.
Let us not rush to concede that which we and our ancestors have worked so hard to build. The kingdom of God will be built upon truths boldly lived and spoken.”
Well, then. I guess “The Church” can re-establish the Scouting program, and Scouting USA will no longer need to recruit Girl Scouts to make up for its financial deficits.
It's because they've been losing money. The abuse scandals have driven many parents away, and the diversity programs that are being implemented are also driving away potential members, and not attracting large numbers of new members who might be sympathetic to these causes. It's lose lose.
LOL. That reminds me of what my BIL said about being sent to "conversion therapy" at BYU years ago. He said he met the hottest guy there, and they laughed about it being a way to meet other guys.
