A county judge and the Tremonton fire chief arrested for sharing child porn. They were sharing it between themselves and discussing child sex abuse.

It gets worse. After the fire chief was arrested, the prosecution requested that he be held in jail, but the judge released him on bail.

The judge is 64, and the fire chief is 54. I didn't realize that the judge that released the fire chief was the perpetrator!

Awful, awful, awful. How people can justify wanting to sexually abuse a child is beyond me.

In Utah Jail is generally for 1 year or less.

Yeah, even convicted criminals do not have any patience for child molesters.

And not a drag queen or trans person.
Imagine that.

Funny enough I ran into this story (with links) on a very conservative leaving site I visit from time to time. The replies there did not have a lot of nice things to say about Utah or Mormons in general.

As long as ChurchCo pretends to believe in Repentance & Forgiving, cases like this won't be responsively dealt with in Morland.
