Where to buy wine/liquor on Sunday in Utah? O/T

I am pretty sure all wine and liquor stores are closed on Sunday in Utah, but I thought I'd see if anyone in SLC knows if there is anything open today up there.

Wine and liquor can only be bought at state liquor stores, which are closed Sundays and holidays.

Some grocery stores can sell 3.2 beer on Sunday. I don't know the details on that - I don't buy the stuff.

Restaurants and bars can sell wine and liquor by the glass on Sunday, subject to their usual rules.

Utah, land of small, non-interfering government. As if.

There is no place to purchase wine except a restaurant or bar. And you will pay a pretty penny for it. Beer - grocery store. Where are you, if you really need some wine, I have a few bottles I can part with. email me at katebennetslc@gmail.com

Okay, jokes aside, Evanston is a little closer by 20 miles but the Wyoming gendarmes probably watch for this stuff more. My advice is "Don't get caught."

It's the Utah gendarmes that watch for Utahns crossing over to Wyoming to by booze.

Since the state of Wyoming would be able to collect the tax, they probably don't care or even would encourage it if they thought they could get away with it politically.

Here is a story about Utah highway patrol busting Utahns for buying fireworks and beer in Evanston.

Do any of the Reservations in Utah sell liquor on Sundays?

Often you can get things on reservations that you can't get elsewhere.
In WA, you can buy liquor on the Res when the state liquor stored aren't open.

Yes, us Utahns have to stock up on wine and liquor before Sundee. I would suggest Evanston or Wendover like previous posters have mentioned.

Thanks for all the advice. I forgot about Evanston... it is sad that Utah will give away business so easily. I ended up getting a bottle from a friend.
