My family was invited to a birthday party of a friend this past saturday. Almost everyone there was apostate. I was able to be involved in conversations that revolved around various beliefs and worldview view points, mixed with some science and 4th dimension Carl Sagan stuff, topped off with some Buddhist ideas. It was so enlightening! Much better then idol chit chat about who was called as what, so and so is pregnant AGAIN, and visiting teacher gossip.

Hanging out with apostates might actually teach ya something. Imagine that.....

I'm part of an atheist group here. When I go to the meetings, I can't believe the difference in intelligent ideas and the ability to express those ideas.

Such a difference from sitting there listening to half-wit explanations of how the earth was made 6000 years ago...
