Resignation (Can it be done online now?)

Hey all ... been a LONG time since I was here, but I have a question for those who might be "in the know!" My youngest daughter turned 18 and she and her friend have decided to "resign." I did mine about 7 years ago and just wondered if anything has changed since then. I remember seeing somewhere that I can be done via e-mail. Has anyone had experience with this?

YES! It can be done online. My sister did it not too long ago, so I know for a fact that it works. Instructions are in the link.

AWESOME!! I'll have them try that route! I wonder if it expedites the process. Plus, they won't have to have a notary, or spend money on a certified letter! I just hope it isn't ignored as if it wasn't received. How long ago, dapperdan, did your sis send hers?

YES! And it worked! I did it online a few months ago and I got "An Invitation" in the mail about 5 days later. I figured that was a good sign. Mine was really, really short. I only had my birthday, maiden name, and address on it, as I didn't know my baptism date, what ward I was in, or my member record number.

took me two months to complete the process and I'm out! just email Dodge and he'll eventually get around to you as well. I didn't have to talk to anybody.
