I particularly like this thread because here you see how grownups can disagree and still have respect and affection for one another.
Notice that no one says another poster is "childish" and certainly no one screams "B.S."
No one's opinion is dismissed because they are or are not Christian, Mormon, Atheist, or ? This is the respect we were all NOT given as Mormons because most of us are women. We all kind of understand that unless we said something offensive, most of what we said didn't matter.
Yet here we thank a poster who brings up a controversial subject. There was a time we would have clucked together in Relief Society, saying, "So sad...lovely person...I knew her when her baby was blessed...did he leave with her? Oh, he's still in. Too bad, such sweet children." What a pack of meaningless drivel.
Our ideas meant zero--not even mentioned, not even asked about.
