The video in the link is 2 years old. Thanks to Elder Price for posting the link over on FB. It's hillarious how the Church seems to rip off anything thier members think is unique or new.

After more thought I realized both cults must not be able to think entirely on thier own. Anyone remember the "I'm a Mac" and "I'm PC" comercials.

These comercials are three years old. It just seems the scientologists were a bit faster on the draw.

I was recently in England and saw in the Quakers' building a "I am a Quaker" poster. Seems they're all using the same marketing company.

There could be some money in catering to cults PR needs. Is your religion misunderstood? Do your future converts not know you even exsist? Are your teachings rideculed for thier "special" nature? Then you need our services! We have ecperience prommoting a diverse array of faiths. We are sales people, we are graphic designers, WE are "The PR firm"!!

Is Scientology increasing? Is Mormonism growing?

I mean, in fact, not through their own misrepresentation.

Scientology is so flatlined it isn't even on the national map. Mormonism is 1% or less everywhere but the Corridor.

What does this tell you....Yes, let's use their marketing techniques instead of improving the product.

For a corporation, the Board of Directors ought to fire them.

I stopped believing in dumbass ideas. I look for the truth in things.

Science has the truth. Not religion.

Actually, it's the Church of Scientology that copies the Mormon Church. They watch the Church closely. They've built underground vaults to house the records of L. Ron Hubbard (Madman) to preserve them for the aliens when they reveal themselves. I heard one of their officers speak about it in a documentary - that they were taking the lead of the Mormon Church to preserve their records.

I believe they are now "excommunicating" their dissidents. They want to APPEAR to be a Church, and they are using the LDS Church as their example.

with two possible presidential candidates in the public eye.

What they don't realize is that the public eye thinks it has conjunctivitis and will be getting the ointment soon. There is no way in HELL the bat-shit crazy Christian foaming Fundamentalist political base, let alone their foil-hat wearing tea partiests, are going to let the anti-Christ religion run against the anti-Christ.

But back to Scientology. They began using copyright infringement laws to pull down sites that posted their secrets. It worked and then later LDS, Inc used it famously to keep people from posting their handbook.

As cults go, they seem to be Apple and Microsoft, respectively as far as their niche goes.
