Tonight on Rachel Maddow - Jeff Sharlet (Foundation Conference Speaker)

Those of you who can stay up late enough to catch the last re-run of the Rachel Maddow show (11 PM, Pacific Time) - do so.....she just finished interviewing Jeff Sharlet about his new book "C Street - The Fundamentalist Threat to American Democracy". He has been interviewed by Maddow several times this past year. If you haven't read his first book "The Family - The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power", you are probably unfamiliar with the very important information that Jeff presented in the first book. The 2nd book is the sequel. If you remember the "C" Street scandals of the past year, the congressmen at the center of that are members of "The Family".

Jeff is speaking at the Exmormon Foundation Conference, and will be discussing both of these books. What he has researched and revealed is of great importance to our community, as more and more is coming out about Mormons who have strong positions in several uber-fundamentalist Christian groups who believe in a coming theocracy in America.
