While this essay is not directly about Mormons, it brings up a lot of issues that routinely appear here. What part of us should we reveal to our children, or others? Is life like a game of Chutes and Ladders? Are some truths really not useful (was Boyd accidentally right?) SHould books ever be burned? (I agree with the author on this one - mishie journal is in a landfill)

Food for thought. I know people tend not to follow links and read long essays, but I I give this one "two thumbs up"
