I'm sure it was about 5 years ago. I really appreciate your help with documentation - the stuff that helped convince the Greek Islanders about the fraud.
I now need to be around as Greek Islander is undergoing chemo and will only just be finished with it at around Christmas time. She's doing very well so far but is in the middle of a tough journey. Having moved back to the UK and living close by I'm thankfully around to do whatever I can.
So we are going to do it, what I suggest is that we discuss it again nearer the time, so I will post a message on the subject around new years time.
Venue wise I am thinking a Wetherspoons, maybe in the 'city' (Liverpool Street or Gracechurch Street) as they wont be that busy on a Saturday. You can also have a function room there for 'free' as long as people buy some food.
But if London, I'd suggest Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese in Fleet Street. It's hundreds of years old, steeped in literary history, has cheap but excellent beer and good food.
If I do manage to get an alibi, it will have to be a work related conference or something. I hate the idea of lying to the person I love most in the world...
