I am sexually attracted to other males. For awhile, I struggled with how a loving Heavenly Father could allow for me to be attracted to other males, and then ask me to abstain from same-sex relationships. However, as I have tried to deal with my attractions in a Christ-like manner, I have found that He really does love me. I have grown so much spiritually as I have learned to deal with my same-sex attractions. I now understand that everyone has challenges in this life. I am no different.

The Church has a high standard on morality. The only sexual relationships that are permitted are between a man and his wife. This may prove difficult for both people with same-sex and opposite-sex attractions. However, I believe that by obeying this law, we can gain greater peace and happiness. God does know what is best for us, and He gave us this law to bless us.

Same-sex marriage distorts what marriage is all about. It is based on the lie that because you are attracted to the same sex, you need to be in a same-sex relationship in order to be "true to yourself". Many members of the Church can testify that this is not true. Some have found peace and joy in celibacy, and others gone on to have faithful and fulfilling marriages. For a long time, I thought I couldn't get married, but the Lord has blessed me to develop a sexual attraction to a beautiful woman and we have a wonderful marriage.

I know for a fact there are a lot of people who are viewing pornography who do not want to. It is an addiction, just like any other, and for a long time I was addicted. It messes with your mind, and distorts your view of reality. A lot of people are searching for help, and don't know where to find it.

That is one thing I really like about our church. We really are a family and we are there to help each other. I had frequent meetings with my Bishop, where he helped me get through my addiction. The Church also provides support groups for people to overcome. There are few places where I have felt as much love in my life as through those meetings and the meetings with the Bishop. He helped me to learn how to rely on Jesus Christ .

The battle against pornography is won one person at a time. Many people are afraid to admit they have a problem, and don't know where to turn. As we reach out with love and care, we can let the porn addicts know that we are there to help them, and not judge them. Many will feel of the love, and will find the way out of their addictions. Many already have, just as I have.

If the Mormon church will feature this sick f---'s real life in one of their "... and I'm a Mormon" ads, I'll go back to attending church for an entire year! (Okay, let's make that ONE FULL MONTH!) ... (How about I'll TRY to watch one full session of General Conference without retching?)

It's pretty obvious that the "frequently asked questions" part of everyone's profiles is written by the TSCC P.R. dept. and the photos used with those questions and answers are selected from the files that the P.R. dept. has collected from the members who have posted profiles.
I guess that's why TSCC claims all rights to text and photos that members post on that site.
