Not here at least. I think it'd be counter-productive. Mind you, we only got political election adverts on television here in 2010, and that was veeery controversial.
I've not seen anything Mormon on TV ads here. Then again, nothing religious either. Unless you count the real charity organizations that have religious overtones: like the Luther Mission (Church of Sweden's charity).
If you give money to such charity you know what the money goes to, They're all accountable.
Hm, wonder if you can check out the finances of the church here... hehe, like you can in the UK.
