Joseph Smith has a lot to answer for.

I thought the Strangites were all extinct...right? Wrong. There are people in Wisconsin still defending the Voree Plates and Strang's obvious rip off of Joseph Smith's obvious hoax.

It gets better. These folks are also the hosts of a major UFO conference, the "Burlington Vortex", where they discuss underground tunnels, secret alien bases, inner earth...

Folks, once you drink the Joseph Smith kool-aid, it's all downhill from there.

I'm waiting for the day when a Mopologist puts forth the theory that the BoM took place in the "inner earth" or a parallel dimension. They're running out of explanations... I think its only a matter of time.

Blinky, the multiverse could be a valid explanation for the kolobians. Shit, Sky Daddy's ways are unknowable.

... is their copyrighted name, which is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day (no hyphen, upper case "D") Saints. Sort of like the Church of Christ owns the Temple Lot in Missouri, or the Community of Christ owns the Kirtland Temple.

What would the Salt Lake church pay for this stuff?

Whew! Glad I was home as one of those links had audible sound track that might have drawn odd looks if I were out and about.

Well, one really intelligent and classy guy to have been brought up Strangite, but apparently not in organized religion any more, has the following website:

http://www.hajicek.com

Scroll down his site to see a list of his holdings of Americana.
I think he custom designed his home in Jackson County, Missouri with a big vault to hold these books, like 4 first editions of the Book of Commandments!

I am assuming he designed the Strangites' website.
