This is interesting, given his conversion to extreme Christianity. *Sigh* Girls of my generation used to have crushes on Kirk and his little curly mullet...
If he was UU, he wouldn't be preaching about god, biblical interpretations of salvation or anything like that. In which case, he'd have more credibility.
LOL... I don't get why people refer to others as "douches". In many languages, a douche is a shower!
I do think that Kirk has evolved into a self-righteous, sanctimonious ass, though. It's still hard to believe he used to grace the pages of Tiger Beat... but then, Pat Boone was also a teen idol, wasn't he?

That might be but in english douche is well. Kirk Cameron.
I remember seeing on one of those "Behind the Music" or whatever it is called on Grown Pains how after he converted he was not fun to be around at all. Allan Thick stated that we got really pushy about his religion.
Let's hope the kid from Three and a Half Men is not some wacho jesus freak or a Mormon in 10 years.
It works either way. Either he's a douche bag (and I think we'd all agree to that), or he's a shower that is washing the brains of Young Earth Creationist children everywhere..
But even a douche bag is not really that offensive. It's the stuff that comes out the orifice after douching that is offensive. A douche bag is basically a bag of medicinal cleanser with a nozzle attached to it used to flush away something unclean, unsavory, or foul smelling. I think it would be far more offensive to be referred to as douche residue or douche drip... or something like that. Just saying... ;-D By the way, Oprah says douching should be avoided.
Back to the topic, I had heard Kirk got really irritating on "Growing Pains", too. When he got married, he didn't invite anyone to his wedding. And he got the cute blonde girl named Julie who played his girlfriend fired because she had posed for "Playboy" or some other men's magazine. I find Kirk's sister, Candace, a lot less annoying, though she has her sanctimonious moments too.

a negative thing. How is this an insult? I don't get it. Also, calling people by the name of some genital... how is that an insult? Are genitals bad things? Gross things? Not to me they aren't.
Both indicate cleanliness. So I really don't get why it's an insult. It's like a bunch of little boys that think the human body is dirty and something to snicker about.
...can you find it in your heart to forgive us? We're sorry that we did it and we promise that we'll quit and and we'll NEVER ever do that thing again... ;)
