Our family is exhausted with grief. Thankfully she died surrounded by our love and we expressed to her our gratitude for all the joy she has brought to us. Our little angel finally checked out of the prison that has been her body and is now free and at peace.

We have excised 'mormon' from her personal information and this had to be done officially to stave off any threat of interference from them.

Now it begins, all over again, with family gathering to say goodbye to another at the end of this dreadful 2011.

Oh, Briggy, this has been such a difficult year for you. I had tears in my eyes reading your news. I wish I could be there to give you a hug or at least I wish I could think of something brilliant to say to make you feel better. I'll send thoughts of strength your way instead.

I'm newer to this board, but I now how it feels to lose a loved one. The best thing I can say is to grieve, allow yourself to do that! Your a caring, loving person, and it natural! On average it takes 2 years to really get over a loss.. and that is an AVERAGE!! If it takes you 6.. That is OK!!

Grief is a tough journey. You are in my thoughts.

May 2012 be a more peaceful and less stressful year for you and yours.

and I thank you all so much for this - it has brought me more comfort than you know.

Today I have been busy arranging the funeral and dealing with all the official stuff at the Registrar's office. This has kept me on auto-pilot all day and I'm relieved to have done those awful tasks that are necessary at these times.

We will be once again picking up family members at the airport so at least we will all be together for New Year. I'm not sure how we will deal with the turn of the year but 2012 will hopefully bring some happiness back. We shall look forward to the Spring when the pain may be lessened a little and we can remember the two that are passed with fondness and hopefully a smile here and there.

Bless you all for your kindness and support. I do hope that I can thank as many as possible in person, maybe at the Conference in October, all being well.

In the meantime I wish everyone at RfM a wonderful New Year and a prosperous 2012 to one and all.
