I. The Quorum of the Twelve is equal in authority to the First Presidency.

22 Of the Melchizedek Priesthood, three Presiding High Priests, chosen by the body, appointed and ordained to that office, and upheld by the confidence, faith, and prayer of the church, form a quorum of the Presidency of the Church.

23 The twelve traveling councilors are called to be the Twelve Apostles, or special witnesses of the name of Christ in all the world—thus differing from other officers in the church in the duties of their calling.

24 And they form a quorum, equal in authority and power to the three presidents previously mentioned.

II. And, the Quorum of the Twelve is lower than the First Presidency, being called by the Church's newsroom "the second-highest governing body".

With divine inspiration, the First Presidency (the prophet and his two counselors) and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (the second-highest governing body of the Church) counsel together to establish doctrine that is consistently proclaimed in official Church publications.

III. And, the Quorum of the Seventy is equal in authority to the Quorum of the Twelve.

25 The Seventy are also called to preach the gospel, and to be especial witnesses unto the Gentiles and in all the world—thus differing from other officers in the church in the duties of their calling.

26 And they form a quorum, equal in authority to that of the Twelve special witnesses or Apostles just named.

IV. But they're also third on the list, behind the Quorum of the Twelve which is behind the First Presidency.

In the Saturday afternoon session of the 175th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elder Neil L. Andersen and Elder Ronald A. Rasband were sustained (affirmed) by the membership of the Church as members of the Presidency of the Seventy, the third highest governing body of the Church. These new assignments had been previously announced by the First Presidency in June of this year

I'm sure glad the Restoration was executed so well that there's no confusion.

There's always one story for those in the know and another for everyone else.
