I bet John Delin is going for the excommunication

Most high profilers seem to favor excommunication over resigning. I see why. I would too. It makes a bigger statement. I read over at postmormon.org he was to meet with his SP at the SP's request "Thursday". I wonder what came of it? Does anyone know?
