Often when an inquiring Latter-day Saint stumbles across the Churches faith destroying history and seeks clarification with the bishop, the questioner will find themselves in a worthiness interview or with no satisfactory answer at all. Sharing ones new found information will often threaten a spouse resulting in marital difficulties and stressed family relationships. No longer embracing the LDS church prohibits one from attending temple weddings of family members and friends. Having been deceived and rejection often brings much heartache and anger. Sometimes we Post-Mormons can get hung up with anger, victimization and a battle of altruism.
Angelia Thoburn, a Transistion Coach will lecture on positive ways to address the anger that comes from enlightenment and shunning. Angelia is a former Catholic, educator, business woman and cancer survivor. She studies how people make healthy transitions in their lives.
The Southern Utah Ex/Post-Mormon Lecture series will be held Sunday February 5th, 2 PM at the New Lexington Hotel- 850 S. Bluff St. St. George Utah.
