I would LOVE to see all the states with anti-gay-marriage laws have to scrap them. But the Supreme Court will be tough, considering its ideological makeup.

Yeah like that family who contributed their hard-earned college savings fund worth 50,000 bucks...sorry kids...you'll have to pay your own way after all. No son, the profit was not wrong to ask us for our money, you must have sinned somehow and now the Gays have won.

Oh well, 25M of the members' money is a small price for the church to see how much political clout they have.

And I used to feel so sorry for them that they could be so brainwashed that they'd give up their kids' college education without even thinking. But I don't feel sorry for any of them anymore. They want to worship a goofball who's only claim to any unique powers is that he can wiggle his ears, more power to them.

That is $25 million more reasons to leave. Marriage equality was already an issue that was dividing the church. I bet there are even more people resenting the church over this issue now that they see their money was wasted. The church can only go back to that trough so many times before members say enough.

If only the Church had a prophet to forsee this outcome. They could have saved a lot of their precious money.

CONGRATS to equality. Wonder how my LDS neighbor who contributed $300,000 to get it passed feels? Oh, yea, he has been rewarded and has a paradisiacal mission pres assignment now...

The U.S. Supremes might decline to rule.

just Think; it all started with the birth control case from Connecticut, I believe;

recognized a 'Right of Privacy'

Griswold v. Connecticut, 381 U.S. 479 (1965)
Justice Wm Douglas ... from WASHINGTON STATE... wrote the decision, I believe.

AMAZING that it took until 1965 for those rights to mature that far, 'eh?

No equality without poly equality!

Don't stop before the fight is won!

We are poly ... and we are NOT going away!

Only when they stop being chicken shits that try to tag along on the great accomplishments of great gay people.

Seriously, the poly's can't even come close to matching the accomplishments of gays but they erroneously think they can fool people into thinking that poly marriage is even remotely associated with gay marriage. pathetic, just pathetic.

And I'm one that would support "poly" marriage as soon as the "poly" supporters admit to and resolve the very important and very real issues that set polly marriage apart from gay or straight couples marriages. But they are too chicken shit for that I am sure.

'And I'm one that would support "poly" marriage as soon as the "poly" supporters admit to and resolve the very important issues that set polly (sic) marriage apart from gay or straight couples marriages.'

Why should poly people bear the burden of changing centuries of monocentric laws and statutes that were not only not written with them in mind but in some cases were created specifically to give legal coloring to polyphobic social attitudes?

It's not that difficult to find legal experts to hash things out and change antiquated, mononormative laws. They should not be used as an excuse to deny anyone's civil rights.

I can say the same about gay marriage, but gays got off their butts and did something about it. So the poly's can get off their butts and do their own leg work.

If it is so easy, then DO IT, IF you can. Prove it can by done, prove there are real solutions, and I will support you, Till then, go sit on your couch o' lazy one.

I mean seriously gays did it, are you saying that 'Polys" are not as capable as gays? That polys can't even do what a bunch of gays have? Seriously, are poly that incapable?

And claiming "polyphobia" when someone is willing to listen to real case as to how to overcome the real and important issues is CHICKEN SHIT, and will lose supporters that ask you difficult questions you can not seem to answer.
