That's what I always say: I liken it to a 'Star Wars' fan that takes his interest to the extreme and follows the morals and ethical behavior of the Jedi religion; at the end of the day (barring actual mental illness) he knows that he's play-acting, based on a movie, that itself is based on a book about about human myths that have been around for thousands of years.

How much should I respect his "faith"?

TBM's actually, literally think that GOD has personally providied everything they follow, when most of it is provavbly false, so while while I can respect much of a TBM's morals and ethical behavior, how much should I respect the actual "faith"?
