1 Nephi 22:17-23
"For the time speedily shall come that all churches which are built up to get gain, and all those who are built up to get power over the flesh, and those who are built up to become popular in the eyes of the world, and those who seek the lusts of the flesh and all the things of the world, and to do all manner of iniquity; yea, in fine, all those who belong to the kingdom of the devil are they who need fear, and tremble and quake; they are those who must be brought low in the dust; they are those who must be consumed as stubble; and this is according to the words of the prophet."

The Book of Mormon is PROVEN true. How could Joseph Smith before 1830 have written such a detailed description of the Mormon Church? No other church is so business oriented, and works so hard to "get gain." No other church works so hard to control its member and "get power of the flesh." No other church works so hard to become "popular in the eyes of the world," and as for "lusts of the flesh," well name one other Church that had its leaders, first in secret and then openly, having sex with multiple women?

But it doesn't stop there. The Book of Mormon prophesies that this Church (obviously the Mormons) "will be brought low in the dust." Isn't that exactly what is happening now? The Mormon Church was forced to change fundamental doctrines by the U.S. Government--it was brought low. Name ONE OTHER CHURCH that had to do that? Now we learn that the membership is bolting--it's a time of apostasy for the Mormons. The internet is spewing forth truth such that the Mormon Church is again being brought low.

How can anyone doubt the Book of Mormon when it has SUCH an accurate prophecy in its pages?

THere is another one, which relates to LDS Temples primarily.

Mormon Chapter 8:37 For behold, ye do love money, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted.

Either Mormon Temples fit this or the Mormon God is a big Hippocrate.
