Chuckle from the BS Blue and Gold Banquet last night

Last night at the Boy Scout banquet, they had a very small kid ( a wolf?)reading off of an index card while they were doing posting of the colors. The little kid read the cue card as follows:
"Now please stand and join me in rejecting the pledge of allegiance!" I almost choked stifling my giggles.

When the pledge had been recited, finishing with " with liberty and justice for all", I muttered under my breath, "unless you're gay". TBM hubby just rolled his eyes at me.
