Shannon Tavarez, the 11-year-old Broadway star who died in 2010:

She's dead dunked, too, and it doesn't look as though family did it by looking at the database entry.

"<>Sniff! Sob!<> I just did the work for Shannon Tavarez/Jerry Garcia/Ebenezer Scrooge, and I just KNOW that they accepted it behind the veil! <blart! Sniffle!<> Oh, I just love helping people who have meant so much to me, over the years to become one with their Heavenly Father and their forever family!<>whimper!<>"

Other obsessives collect signed photographs of dead stars. Mormon obsessives collect the paperwork for their "Corpsesureal baptisms".

Just had a random thought... One day -if not already?- some fruitloopy Mormon will start murdering people in order to put the paperwork in for their DDAs. (Dead Dunk Ordinances.)

Hang on. That's a good question! How DOES TSCC handle this?

That's one of those things that will be sorted out in the afterlife, thus sayeth TSCC. If you died unmarried, then you can't be sealed to anyone by proxy. However, if you died married, say to a spouse from whom you were seeking a divorce, you could be sealed because you were lawfully married.
