I know of a situation where a Bishop molested several of the youth in their Ward. A GA was sent from SLC to cleanup, make sure the Bishop was ex'ed, kids all absolved of sin, and to keep the matter all hush-hush. Several years later one of the kids moves out-of-state as a young adult and tells his young adult priesthood leader about the incident. Not even his parents knew what happened. On request of the young adult the leader calls the parents and arranges a time an hour later for them to talk to their son. In the meantime the leader calls the church's abuse support number and talks to an expert on these types of matters and repeats to them what he learned from the young adult. Within 10 minutes Thomas S. Monson (when GBH was prez) calls the leader and tells him to not let the young adult talk to the parents. The young adult's leader disobeys. The young adult talks to his parents. Then they call the police. The ex-Bishop gets investigated and convicted. Monson/Packer try to get this young adult leader ex'ed but one of the Apostles threatens to expose them all if they do so. As a result the church lets the matter die. However to this day they still haven't repented of their own coverup game. I'm perfectly willing to share this true story as far/wide as needed so people can understand Mormon culture. If any TBM doesn't like the truth then I'd welcome a lawsuit.
Do you have proof? Specific names, court records to back this up? It's not that I don't believe you, but this is such a powerful claim, I would like to have proof so we can make sure it gets proper attention.
