The recent crop of prophets and apostles just don't seem to lie as well as the old ones.

Yeah. Google and the information age has a strange way of screwing with "untruths", "miss-speaking" and fairy tales.

When all facts can be checked in seconds, liars really have to up their game and I agree--the only game plan I see is that they are not worried anymore about Satan ruling the waters, they need their subjects convinced that Satan rules google. I honestly believe that is their last hope.

It really makes me wonder. It is one thing to be that duped years ago, but now? There's so much information out there that you can't just put your head in the sand, you've got to burrow in to at least the waist.

Holland could have said, "Members leave the church every day. And we don't even kill them anymore."

okay, to give credit, the song does say, "it wasn't really so, but it seemed to be"...perhaps this should be a standard disclaimer for everything they preach.

It really is difficult. Uh... I can't think of anything at the moment. LDS church survival depends on myth and legend, plus hiding the facts in hopes that people won't discover it. Truth? I'm still thinking...

Still got nuthin'.
