GAs go out of their way to present 'the gospel' as unified, correlated, continuous.
They have conferences with the implicit purpose of bringing the saints 'to be one', as mentioned somewhere in the scriptures.
What's written, or (most of the time) even Preached as 'the gospel' is one thing, but:
what the gospel REALLY comes down to is when YOU have a choice, a decision to make; you go to the Bp / SP, and have them 'hand it to you'. What they say in an Exactly IDENTICAL situation as someone else... may be 180 degrees Different.
Also, there's Very Little "Quality Control"; personal opinions given in talks are Seldom separated from orthodoxy/cannon. People quote whichever sources, etc. that supports their views.
So, even if they Claim ONE GOSPEL...what reaches the members can be Vastly Different!
bottom line: what's written or said by people at the Top isn't nearly as relative as 'where the rubber meets the road'.
