To the Jewish posters:
Chag Sameach! The survival of the Jewish people and the Regathering is truly a miracle and a light to the goyim!

To the Christian posters:
Jesus celebrated Channukah at the Temple. (John 7) where he said on Solomon's portico "I'm the light of the world; whoever believes in me shall never live in darkness." He is the light on this Celebration of Lights and the Shamas, aka the Servant light, although the highest on the Menorah. Let's be a light in the darkness always!

To the TBM lurkers:

My prayer is, that you will find your way out of the darkness you're in, and embrace the light and love of Jesus, who fulfilled the laws and all it's ordinances.
No rituals required!

To my atheist (hopefully friends :)

You may like to read about Hannukah anyway, ow it started and if that doesn't interest you... you'll LOVE the Latkes

Each night of Hanukkah, the family stands in a circle.

Then, holding hands, they dance around the cash register singing “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Don't you think what you wrote is anti-semitic, especially to the Jewish posters? I'm truly saddened by what you wrote! Thank God, it's not a "ex-mormon' sentiment, just racist people like you!

NOthing racist about it. It's a religion, it's a choice.

I suppose his energy that was left after he died could give off light.

And, since most Christians cannot read Greek, the work translated as fulfill is more aptly translated as to perform. So Jesus said basically that the Law was there forever (until Heaven and Earth pass) and that he was performing the Law.

Thanks for sharing that. It was beautiful. I am teaching about Hanukkah today in my first grade class....too busy yesterday. The kids make a paper mennorah, too. They love it.

We celebrate Hanukkah, christmas, and Eid.... We're not particularly religious but we love all the food and family togetherness.

Ziller’s Jewish friends thought the Hanukkah joke was funny.

Well, the ones with a sense of humor did anyway.

They also found the following Jewish jokes hilarious:

1. The one about how copper wire was invented.

2. The one about the cross-eyed mohel.

3. The one about the catholic priest, the babtist preacher and the rabbi on an airplane.

4. The one about the Jewish mother’s gay son who married a doctor.

5. The one about the rabbi eating a ham sammich while watching a catholic priest have sex.

And

6. Jesus jokes – he was / is Jewish right? They love those.

Haters are going to hate.

Ziller loves God’s people and counts many of them as “a friend closer than brother.”

just sayin'
