Trying to jump through all the hoops, keep all the commandements, fulfill all the callings, home/visiting teaching, having a temple recommend, and finally keeping up appearances for all the gossipy TBMs around you, is like trying to juggle live, angry skunkupines.

A skunkupine is a creature from my own imagination, which consists of a skunk with porcupine quills.

metaphor of "juggling live skunkupines."

I am, after all, a sweet little finger puppet crafted of black & white felt with googly eyes with a subtle scent of L'air du Temps.

"Juggling live skunkupines" is right up there with the description of sacrament meeting as being a "Zombie Jamboree."

Well done, sir. Well done.
